Sunny Skies Notes For February 2012

Our Sunny Skies Birthdays for FEBRUARY
Mason M. will be 5 on February 1st.
Oskar W. will be 1 on February 7th.
Colin A. will be 5 on February 19th.
Aurora G. will be 1 on February 19th.
We LOVE birthday parties. You are welcome to
send in birthday treats on your child's special day!
SPECIAL NOTES AND REMINDERS: We now have 12 NEW Infant Cribs
which brings us into compliance for the new mandated State
guidelines on cribs!!!! Take a peek!
Please do not leave cash for any reason in the tuition box.
Please give it to a staff member.
When parking out front be considerate of others and do not
block the entrance to our walk way and front door. Thank you
for your assistance.
Parents: When you use a vacation day please check our tuition
rate for the correct amount that will be owed for the days
of attendance. Many of you are dividing your current rate
by the number of days your child attends this is incorrect.
( the more days your child attends in a week the more of a
discount there is worked into your tuition rate.)
With the flu season heavily upon us many children are experiencing
fevers. Please, we ask your assistance in not bringing back
a sick child who has been medicated with a fever reducer.
This only subjects the rest of the center to the illness.
Remember we have a 24 hour fever free rule. Your cooperation
is greatly needed and appreciated.
To celebrate the Super Bowl on Friday, February 3rd we will
be having a Taco Lunch $3. Families are asked to sign up for
a dish for their child's room. Show your spirit and wear your
favorite football jersey/ hat or football apparel. Special
Tailgate games and activities are planned. It will be a fun
and exciting day!
"Love grams" can be sent to your child on Tuesday,
February 14th. Love Grams are available in the office.
It is a state requirement that all children are signed in
and out everyday by a PARENT. Continued failure to sign in/out
can lead to disenrollment from the center.
We will be having our Valentine's Day Party on Tuesday, Feb.
14th. We will be having a pizza party. The cost is $3. Please
look for a sign up sheet in your child's room if you wish
to bring in a red dish or treat to pass. Children will be
passing out Valentine cards to their friends during our celebration.
Please ask your child's teacher for a count of children in
their class. Thank you. Please dress your child in red or
pink.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD HAS A CHANGE OF CLOTHES IN THEIR
CUBBY
Parents: Remember to bring in snow pants, mittens, hats and
boots and extra socks for your child with their names on them.
The children go outside if the temperature is APPROX. 32 degrees
including the wind chill factor. If they are too sick to go
outside they are too sick to be at the center. Bring shoes
to change into if they wear boots to the center.
Parents: Remember to save all of your receipts. We do not
give end of year tax forms.
Any parent who refers a family to any of the 4 Sunny Skies
locations will receive a Free vacation day for each family
when that child enrolls and begins at our center.
Please allow plenty of time when picking up your child, since
road conditions may be unpredictable during these winter months.
We close promptly at 6 p.m. Our late fee is $1 per minute
after our closing time. Thank you for your cooperation.
