Sunny Skies Notes For February 2012

Our Sunny Skies Birthdays for FEBRUARY
Jack G. will be 5 on February 8th.
Claire P. will be 2 on February 10th.
Sophie W. will be 4 on February 22nd.
We LOVE birthday parties. You are welcome
to send in birthday treats on your child's special day!
SPECIAL NOTES AND REMINDERS:
February Fun!!!!
DO NOT LEAVE CASH IN THE TUITION BOX for any reason, please
give it to a staff member.
We now have two NEW Infant Cribs which brings us into compliance
for the new mandated State guidelines on Cribs!!
Parents: When you use a vacation day please check our tuition
rate for the correct amount that will be owed for the days
of attendance. Many of you are dividing your current rate
by the number of days your child attends, this is incorrect.
(the more days your child attends in a week the more of a
discount there is worked into your tuition rate.)
With the flu season heavily upon us many children are experiencing
fevers. Please, we ask your assistance in not bringing back
a sick child who has been medicated with a fever reducer.
This only subjects the rest of the center to the illness.
Remember we have a 24 hour fever free rule. Your cooperation
is greatly needed and appreciated
Thursday, Feb. 2nd, is Ground Hog's day. Do you think he
will see his shadow?
Friday, February 3rd, Super Bowl Party! Please look for the
sign- up sheet located by the side door! No lunches/No 3 dollar
charged needed! Sign up to bring something, and don't forget
to wear your favorite football jersey! GO NFL!
Tuesday, February 14th Your Parent/Child Home Activity Hearts
are due.
Valentines' Day party Tuesday, February 14th = $3 lunch will
be a Hot dog, Spaghetti O's and Carrots with a slice of bread!
Please have your money in by Friday, February 10th. If you
would like to bring in a treat for our Valentine's Day party,
you are more than welcome to! If you need a class list for
valentine cards, please see your teacher.
Scholastic Book orders are due Feb 10th.
MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD HAS A CHANGE OF CLOTHES IN THEIR BOX.
*If your child will not be in for the day please call us by
10 a.m. to let us know.*
Parents: Remember to bring in snow pants, mittens, hats and
boots for your child with their names on them. Children go
outside if the temperature is APPROX. 32 degrees including
the wind chill factor. If your child isn't well enough to
go out, they should not be at the center. Bring shoes to change
into if they wear boots to the center.
***Parents: Please save all of your receipts. We do not give
end of year tax forms. ***
Please allow plenty of time when picking up your child, since
road conditions may be unpredictable during these winter months.
We close promptly at 6 p.m. ($1 per minute late fee.)
