Sunny Skies Notes For August 2010

31st Year Anniversary
Our Sunny Skies Birthdays for AUGUST
Daniel O. will be 2 on August 9th.
Sutton R. will be 2 on August 13th.
Colin B. will be 3 on August 25th.
Nicholas M. will be 4 on August 28th.
Ms. Stephanie's birthday is August 24th.
Ms. Ashley's birthday is August 29th.
We LOVE birthday parties. You are welcome
to send in birthday treats on your child's special day!
SPECIAL NOTES AND REMINDERS:
We will be closed on Monday, September 6th. for Labor Day.
Tuition remains the same unless taking a pre-arranged vacation
day, please let Ms. Kathy know.
During the week of August 30th -September 3rd the annual
$35 material fee will be added to your weekly tuition, for
all children enrolled. Please add this to your payment.
In accordance with our written policy, all students receive
new vacation days as of September 1 st (your family's total
number of vacation days are determined by the amount of days
your child/ren are scheduled in a week and that number is
doubled.
However, no vacation days may be carried over from the previous
year. Please remember to give at least a ten day notice when
you decide to use your vacation days.
Please inform Ms. Kathy of any schedule changes no later
than Noon on Thursdays for the following week.
On Friday, August 20th, we will have a "Sock Hop"
of our own. Be sure to bring socks as we will be dancing the
"Twist" to some "Cruising" favorites!!
Our annual Carnival will be on Tuesday, August 24th.We will
have games, prizes bounce house fun and a yummy carnival lunch
( corn dogs, elephant ears and many other yummy carnival foods).
The cost is $3. It is sure to be a fun filled day!!
All Child Information cards must now be updated annually.
Please see Ms. Kathy: If there are no changes on your card
please date and initial where your previous signature was
on the back of the card. If there are too many changes please
fill out a NEW card.
Remember to sign in and sign out every day.
A $15 late fee will be added to your account if payment is
not made on your child's first scheduled day of the week.
Preschool Class: We will return to heating up lunches as of
Monday, August 30th.
As a reminder: Our breakfast time ends at 8:30 a.m. We go
into our classrooms and begin our busy day, so there will
not be staff available to stay with your child for breakfast.
If your child arrives after 8:30 a.m. please make sure you
child has already eaten.
Thank you to all our families who have donated toys and other
supplies. We appreciate your donation and know we will put
it to good use.
If your child will be leaving Sunny Skies for Kindergarten,
please inform Ms. Kathy of their last day. Please remember
we will need a full two week notice in writing.
We wish all our graduates a wonderful year in Kindergarten.
Don't forget to come back and visit us. If you need care throughout
the year, let Ms. Kathy know. Enjoy your Labor Day !!!!
